St.John's College of Nursing is owned and managed by a catholic congregation named Brothers of St. John of God. The order commonly called Hospitaller Brothers was started in 1572. The congregation has hospitals and other similar institutions in 40 countries worldwide. All these institution function under a General & is helped by six General Councilors.
